Over those years, the automatic control technology of mechanical systems has evolved from the pneumatic-electric controllers to the processor controlled Energy Management Systems (EMS). The Western Allied Controls Services Group, in response to the changing technologies, focuses on fully utilizing the power and benefits of the EMS approach.

Western Allied is factory authorized to represent; LONWORKSâ (Registered System Integrator).  By utilizing the LONWORKS open protocol approach we maintain the flexibility to integrate legacy control devices with the most suitable manufacturer product lines. For the enterprise solution Western Allied offers the VYKONâ  product by Tridium as the facility management tool. The Tridium suite enables us to integrate a combination of LONWORK, Modbus, BACnet, and legacy devices on a single platform. We also provide support and services for existing Siemens, Johnson Controls, Trane, Carrier and Alerton systems.

We recommend a LonWorks/Tridium protocol based EMCS (Energy Management / Control System) as the optimal solution to short and long term objectives.

It offers a cost effective 'open protocol based platform' for interoperability of different facility systems such as Lighting, Security, Data-center Systems (UPS/power and AC unit monitoring).  By utilizing this open protocol we are able to pick and choose the 'best of market' control components and integrate them into an integrated system custom tailored to your present needs while maintaining the room for future growth of the system.

An important feature of the LonWorks/Tridium system is the support of 'web page graphics' and Ethernet based networking.  The web page graphics dramatically improve access to the network in comparison to the traditional proprietary systems used in the past.
