What is even more amazing is that we were able to implement these initiatives and achieve a total revenue of 111 million and 514,000 hours which exceeded our goals of 105 million and 505,000 hours that we set in 2020. This is a testament to the hard work and dedication of all of the people we have at the company and we could not have done it without you!
Now we embark into 2022 and the future looks bright. We have secured a new east bay 105,000 square foot facility in Union City that will more than double our shop size and allow us to work together under one roof. We are investing in additional automation equipment in our shops, expanding our capabilities in markets like building automation and plumbing/process work, and are in another year of leadership transition where Pete Kelly, Rob Monaghan, and Jeff Pierce will also retire.
We will also hold another “Heavy Metal” summer camp and should be proud of the pilot camp we hosted last year along with Hermanson in Washington State. The program is taking off with ~ 15 mechanical contractors across the nation and it all started here! Thanks to the folks at WAM that volunteered last summer!
In 2022 we will not significantly grow in volume. We will grow in capability and efficiency which will position us well into the future. As we bring on more WAMer’s into the company, we will be poised to grow in the future, but that is not the goal.
Our long-term goal:
Western Allied Mechanical is the preferred mechanical contractor in the Bay Area.
It is your continued focus on care, teamwork, and innovation that will drive us into the future. Thank you all for your efforts to achieve this goal!
