Vaxart 310 Utah SSF Plumbing
South San Francisco, CA
Project Lead: Kelly Britland

We are working on completing plumbing rough-in for our Vaxart project located at 310 Utah in SSF. This is our second Vaxart project, and we have two more in the pipeline. The project scope includes a 17,000 sq ft retrofit of former lab and office space as required for a new R&D lab. Scope includes connection to existing “house” lab waste and vent, sanitary waste and vent, domestic water, industrial cold water, Clean Dry Air (CDA), and Reverse Osmosis (RO/DI) systems. We also have new Nitrogen (N2), Oxygen (O2), Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Argon (Ar), Helium (He), and Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) piping, auto-changeover manifolds, and equipment connections. Additionally, we have two cGMP ISO 8 dry rooms, with dedicated CDA compressor and high purity piping furnished in stainless steel with Swagelok joints.

Keysight Technologies
Santa Rosa, CA
Project Lead: Nicholas Johnson

Keysight Technologies consisted of the retrofit of the central utility plant (CUP) condenser water (CW) system serving the buildings of this campus. Initially, 1200 tons of temporary chillers were installed to facilitate the plant upgrades. The existing CW system was removed and upgraded with 6000 tons of new stainless cooling towers, centrifugal separator filtration skids, and sand filter system including modification of the CUP piping, including new 20’’ headers. We put our Novarc robotic welding arm to good use! New underground domestic and sanitary systems were also installed as part of the project.

Sierra Point Tower Lab
Brisbane, CA
Project Lead: Kevin Bianchi

This project consisted of an all-electric mechanical system supporting the conversion of an existing high rise office building to 50-50 lab-office use. We installed new rooftop equipment including a 400-ton water-cooled chiller, cooling tower, 480-tons of air to water heat pumps providing CHW & HHW to lab floors, lab exhaust fans connected to heat recovery unit, and lab exhaust riser down former elevator shaft.

UCSF C4 / D4
San Francisco, CA
Project Lead: Leon Matthews

This project was a retrofit of an existing and occupied building in Mission Bay. We worked on 2 floors of a 32 floor building, including new offices, an accelerated schedule, just in time delivery, and a 24/7 collaboration room.
