SAGE RUSSELL, whose proud father is our own Greg Russell, is entering 12th grade in the Fall and has many achievements such as a Mentorship at UC Berkeley and academic awards while also taking leadership roles in many organizations like Girls for Medicine.
BRIAN SONG is a Construction Project Management intern. Brian goes to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, majoring in Mechanical Engineering with a concentration in Manufacturing. Brian will graduate in December. He likes snowboarding and rockclimbing, and he plays League of Legends and Super Smash Bros. Fun Fact: He does traditional lion dance and performs all year with a club at San Luis Obispo.
SACHI KANAGAWA is our first ever Marketing intern. She assists Kelli GalDiaz with some of our new marketing initiatives! Sachi just graduated from SJSU with a Business Management degree. She enjoys hiking and anything outdoors, trying new restaurants, hanging with friends/family, and binge-watching good tv series. Fun Fact: Sachi is allergic to cats, but she has two of them!
JOSEPH KASTELIC is our first ever Operations Intern. He assists Jim Jeffrey and Ben Simon with the planning for the move of our shop to the new Union City building! Joseph goes to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, majoring in Industrial Technology and Packaging. He is going into his 3rd year. His interests are mountain biking and exploring new trails. Fun Fact: Joseph got a compound fracture while playing Lacrosse for his high school. He saw the bone sticking out of his arm!! Maybe not such a “fun” fact.
CHRIS DISIBIO is an Estimating Intern. Chris goes to Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, majoring in Civil Engineering. He plays lacrosse, video games, and enjoys the outdoors and hanging out with friends. Fun Fact: Chris almost didn’t survive birth due to being breech and upside down! Thankfully, the doctors and his mom did their jobs well!
ERIC CORTES is our first ever Plumbing Department Intern. Eric is entering his 5th and final year at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo as a mechanical engineering major. He likes to make music and play guitar, drums and dabbles in other instruments. Other interests are skateboarding, building things, and exercising. Fun Fact: Eric makes “bentwood” rings from scratch!
NAMI SUZUKI is an engineering intern. Nami goes to Cal San Luis Obispo, majoring in Mechanical Engineering. In her free time, she enjoys dancing, reading, and hiking. She is part of a dance club at Cal Poly. Fun Fact: Nami used to be able to do a backflip because she did gymnastics. She says, she would probably hurt herself if she tried now.
GRANT EGGERS is a Construction Project Management Intern. Grant is a second year at SDSU, majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Business. Grant likes hiking, fishing, and surfing. He is super into music and loves to attend concerts and music festivals. A fun fact about him is that he got his black belt in Taekwondo a few years ago.
RICHARD VANEVELD is an engineering intern that started with us on July 5. Richard just graduated from Gunn High School and will be going to Foothill College in the Fall. He is interested in pursuing a career in the video game industry. He is also interested in science in general. He is looking forward to joining a gym soon to try to shed some COVID weight!
EVA KOUYATE is a recent graduate of Cal Poly, SLO, where she majored in Mechanical Engineering and minored in Media Arts, Society, and Technology. Eva is fluent in French, and loves to travel and play volleyball.
