We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Marketing Coordinator to join our team at WAM. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating our social media efforts, managing our content management system, developing marketing collateral, and supporting proposal development. You will work closely with our marketing, safety, and project management teams to create engaging content, editing videos, monitoring social media trends, and analyzing our analytics to measure the effectiveness of our marketing efforts.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Manage social media channels (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn) for WAM & DTS, including developing content calendars, scheduling posts, and monitoring community engagement.
- Design graphics and create content to support our social media channels, including filming videos, editing videos and articles.
- Coordinate with project managers to capture photos and videos of jobsites for use in marketing materials.
- Update website content to ensure it is current and accurate.
- Develop marketing collateral, such as brochures and presentations, to support client outreach.
- Assist with proposal development by creating case studies, project write-ups, and client testimonials.
- Manage the marketing library and project information databases.
- Assist with SWAG development and coordinate with vendors as needed.
- Monitor social media trends and stay up-to-date on emerging platforms and best practices.
- Attend monthly marketing meetings and assist with creating slide decks for internal meetings and job interviews.
- Generate safety videos, coordinating with the safety team and video production vendor, and editing videos as needed.
- Assist with creating slide decks for All Hands Meetings and coordinating content for these meetings.
- Support the development of qualifications packages, bid packages, interview presentations, and follow-up materials.
- Monitor and respond to comments and direct messages on social media platforms and assist with monthly social media reports.
- Stay organized and manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Salary Range: $65,000 to $85,000 depending on experience and qualifications
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing or social media management.
- Passion for social media and an understanding of the landscape, including Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, etc.
- Strong creative eye and working knowledge of content creation, reporting, and scheduling tools like Hootsuite, Adobe Premiere Pro, Canva, Adobe Suite, etc.
- Excellent writing, storytelling, and communication skills.
- Basic understanding of marketing principles and social media analytics.
- Highly organized and able to simultaneously manage multiple projects.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively while managing multiple demands.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
- Desire to learn and continually seek opportunities for betterment.
