What began in one building with a few dozen team members has flourished to a large campus with over 300 employees.     Western Allied adds to our service offerings by introducing a plumbing division within the construction department.

    KoolDuct and ThermaDuct Certifications

    WAM is the first mechanical contractor in the Bay Area to be trained in the manufacturing and installation of KoolDuct and ThermaDuct systems.

    Sheet Metal and Pipe Shop Expansion

    Western Allied acquires an additional facility for sheet metal and pipe shops, providing necessary space for continued growth.

    Western Allied celebrates 50 years in the industry.

    WAM Joins National Peer Group

    Western Allied becomes a member of one of the oldest and finest peer groups in the SMACNA organization. SMACNA is one of our industry’s premier trade associations.

    WAM expands its Menlo Park campus to meet business demand in Northern California.

    Western Allied Mechanical, Inc. is Born

    Company owners decide to reorganize the business into northern and southern divisions. A new company, Western Allied Mechanical, is formed to operate in Northern California.

    Business Moves to New Location

    Western Allied moves to current location in Menlo Park, California.

  • 1972

    Northern California Expansion

    Western Allied opens an office in Belmont, California.

  • 1961

    Western Allied Corporation is Founded

    Western Allied is founded as an HVAC contractor by Pat Mattson, Hans Sommer and Harold Waterman in Santa Fe Springs, California.
