Why You Want to Work for Western Allied Mechanical

Canada College B23 Math, Science and Technology Building

4200 Farm Hill Blvd., Redwood City, CA
Project Summary

This Design/Build project was a three story, 50,000 SF science lab and faculty office building. It is a LEED Gold, Zero Net Energy Ready building, and participated in the Saving By Design Program. We used a dual duct system and were able to reduce down to only one custom AHU and five fan coils. This resulted in significant saving of maintenance cost for our client. WAM was involved in the early stages of design and were able to collaborate with other team members to help reduce structure cost and space saving. With early Design-To-Fit and BIM coordination process, the entire project was nine months ahead of schedule.
