Project Summary

Plan and spec retrofit of existing HVAC systems consisting of extensive chiller plant modification and replacement of (4) central air handling units. Simplified existing central plant by removing (4) glycol/chilled water chillers, associated heat exchangers, multiple pump manifolds, and cross-over piping. Converted central plant to a traditional primary/secondary piping system with (2) water-cooled chillers. Demolished (4) existing central building air handling units and replaced them with (4) custom modular air handling units with fan arrays. The project also included controls upgrades, TAB, extensive commissioning, BIM, and a lot of scripted work to minimize impact to the facility.
