Project Summary

This project consisted of demolishing office space in an occupied lab/office building and converting that space into new laboratory spaces. We installed infrastructure and final fit-out for various types of labs, including completing the install of a Thermo Fisher Cryo EM Krios microscope suite, in addition to the installation of infrastructure for a future Thermo Fisher Cryo EM Glacios microscope suite. Redundancy, acoustics, vibration, and serviceability were some of the major challenges the team overcame while working in this existing and occupied building.
