Why You Want to Work for Western Allied Mechanical

LAM Office Build Out and Equipment Replacement CA-13 CA-14

45700 Northport Loop East, Fremont, CA
Project Summary

The project includes the replacement and upgrade of major rooftop mechanical equipment, duct systems, and air distribution components. Work includes the installation of new packaged air conditioning units, including approximately 75-ton rooftop units for CA-14 with integrated economizers and gas/electric heating systems, as well as the replacement of existing duct furnace systems and exhaust fans in CA-14.

Existing air distribution infrastructure will be reused where feasible, including dual-duct and cooling-only VAV terminal units in CA-13 and existing ductwork systems with selective modifications. The project also includes the installation of new VAV boxes, airside devices, and grilles as required by the design, along with rigging, crane operations, and seismic anchorage for rooftop equipment installation.

Mechanical work encompasses ductwork fabrication and installation, shop and field labor, and coordination with existing building systems under the project’s phased implementation approach. The project also delivers a fully integrated Building Automation System (BAS) upgrade across both CA-13 and CA-14, with all work performed under an accelerated schedule.
