Project Summary
SMBC is an office-to-lab retrofit of two buildings totaling ~250,000 sqft. WAM scope includes mechanical and plumbing consisting of two new central plants, one for each building (with underground CHW/HHW and DCW/NG piping), dedicated AHUs for each floor’s lab system, rooftop lab exhaust fans, built-up penthouse system retrofit serving the offices, with new plumbing systems including lab waste, industrial water, domestic water, CDA, and VAC systems, in addition to 12 of 14 floors undergoing spec lab TI build-out for Longfellow.
